PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Retainer and Payment: The Client shall pay a retainer fee to retain the date/time to perform the services specified in the contract. The retainer is nonrefundable & isn’t apart of the total balance.

2. Payment: To book your photoshoot with me, you’ll be able to pay your deposit with PayPal or Square. From that point you can either send the remaining balance via Zelle/Paypal/Apple Pay/Cash. If you decide to pay the remaining balance via Zelle/Apple Pay or PayPal, be sure to reach out to me to have the correct payment information. The TOTAL balance must be paid at least 24 hours before your session.

3.  Rescheduling-If the client needs to reschedule the phootshoot, the date has to be determined at the photographers earliest convenience. A $30 fee will be added to reschedule.

4. Consultation Call: After your photo session is booked, we will have a consultation call/email/text conversation so I can know the exact vision that you have for your shoot. During this consultation we will discuss outfits, ideas, & locations. I highly recommend looking for ideas, locations, and concepts in advance so we can have a great start.

5. Cancellation: If the Client shall cancel this Agreement more than five (5) calendar days before the photo shooting day, any booking fee paid to the Photographer shall be refunded in full.

6. Photographic Materials and Copyright: All photographic materials, such as original negatives, photos, or slides, shall be the exclusive property of the Photographer. The Photographer shall own the copyright in all images created and may use the work for samples, contests, exhibition, advertising and self-promotion. Usage outside the bounds of this agreement will require the Client’s consent.

7. Client’s Usage: The Client is obtaining prints for personal use only, and shall not sell prints or authorize any reproductions thereof by parties other than the Photographer. If Client is obtaining a print for reproduction, Photographer authorizes Client to reproduce the print only as set forth under Special Usage Requirements. In such event, Client shall request that a copyright and credit notice for the Photographer be placed adjacent to the photograph on publication, but shall have no liability if the publication refuses or omits to do so.

8. Social Media: This clause applies to all social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and blogs. When published online it is required that citation of photographer be made. The client agrees that they will under no circumstances alter any photographs that are placed in public on the internet.

9. Late Fee: It is the clients responsibility to be on time for the photoshoot so there will be a $30 late fee for every 10 mins that the client is late. NO EXCEPTIONS!

10. Liability: It is client’s responsibility to take care of their children; D. Jones Visuals will not accept any responsibility due to any accident to children or damage to public or private properties during the photo shooting or consultation session.

11. Edits: Client accepts that all photographs will be taken and edited at the photographer’s discretion based on the photographer’s experience and artistic view. I DO NOT RELEASE ANY UNEDITED RAW IMAGES.

12. Turn around time- Edits will take up to 10-12 business days. Business days doesn’t include weekends.

13. Rush Fee: If you book a session less than 24hrs prior to the shoot, a $50 rush fee will be added to the cost of the shoot due to last minute accommodations. NO EXCEPTIONS.
